About StartCG
A founder portal for Montenegro, in four languages, pointed at the systems where registration and grants actually happen.
What this is
StartCG is a catalogue, a set of guides, a helper directory, a calendar and a moderated community. The public site in this version is generated from seed data in the repository. Editors will later publish from Firestore.
What this is not
StartCG is not the Central Registry of Business Entities, not the Tax Administration, not the Point of Single Contact, and not the Innovation Fund. It does not file applications, open bank accounts, or award grants. A public umbrella with MIA, the Science and Technology Park, or the Fund is a later decision. Nothing on this site is that mandate.
Operator
The operator is AI711. Questions about a listing or a correction go to info@startcg.me. That address is delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing and is not a government inbox.
Who can do what
- Visitor
- Reads published pages. No account required.
- Listed organisation
- A signed-in user tied to one startup or helper card. They may later edit the description fields of that card. They cannot publish, verify, or change their own role.
- Editor
- Publishes and archives catalogue, guide, story, helper and calendar rows. Publishes or hides forum threads. Cannot change another person’s role.
- Admin
- Everything an editor can do, plus roles and deletions. The first admin is created in Firebase Auth and written to users/{uid} from the seed script or the console. Self-signup can only create a visitor.
Languages
English, Russian, Montenegrin (crnogorski, Latin) and German. The Montenegrin URL is /cg/ and the page language is cnr. Copy is written for this site, not machine-translated at request time.
