What to take to the first meeting with an accountant
A useful first hour is a list of facts. Leave with who files, what you keep, and how often you meet.

This is a StartCG summary, not legal, tax, or investment advice. Confirm fees, forms and deadlines on the official page before you act.
Bring this
- Founding act, statute, certificate, and the case number
- Who can sign in to IRMS
- What you will sell in the next six months, and to whom: domestic clients, foreign clients, or consumers
- Whether you expect to hire
- Whether you already ticked a VAT annex
- Any grant call you might answer
Ask this
Who files in IRMS, and what you must send before they can. What you should keep, and which rule they want you to confirm for the retention period. How they want invoices numbered. What they will not do: payroll, a legal opinion, a grant budget. What the fee includes. Sample cards in the helper directory are fiction. A public reference is not a partnership and has not been verified by StartCG.
You still sign
An accountant prepares. The company remains responsible for what is filed in its name. Read what you submit.
