Hiring is a filing, not only a contract
The business portal’s guide covers an employee as well as a company. A contract in a drawer is not the filing.

This is a StartCG summary, not legal, tax, or investment advice. Confirm fees, forms and deadlines on the official page before you act.
What changes
A founder working alone and a company with an employee are different filing positions. Payroll and the registration of the employee sit with the Tax Administration. The national business portal puts company registration and employee registration in one guide. Read the current steps there before the person’s first day.
Agree the work in writing
The work, the pay, who signs, and the start date. This page will not draft the contract and will not quote a wage or a contribution rate. Those belong in the current rule and in a conversation with an accountant or a lawyer.
File it where the administration expects
Employees are registered with the Tax Administration through IRMS. Do that before you treat the person as hired. StartCG does not employ anyone for you and does not check contracts.
